AIESEC - Marketing Plan & Content Creation
About the Client
(Est. 1948) AIESEC is an international youth-run, non-governmental and not-for-profit organization that provides young people with leadership development, cross-cultural internships, and global volunteer exchange experiences. The organization focuses on empowering young people to make a Progressive social impact. The AIESEC network includes approximately 44,280 members in 120+ countries.
Marketing Plan
AIESEC operates in 120+ countries and has a presence in a lot of universities. Those branches, called Local Committees are run under supervision of the national team, or Members Commitees, those in turn report to AIESEC International (AI), headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
My AIESEC journey began in 2017 when I joined the Local Committe, AIESEC in Canterbury. I started as a Team Member in their B2B Sales arm, ICX (Incoming Exchanges). Our job descriptions was to cold call local firms who might be interested in accepting an interns from around the world and enabling their leadership development and cross-cultural exchange.
Soon after I became the Vice-President for PR & Marketing. My responsibilites were to plan and execute marketing activities, ranging from on-campus events and stalls to social-media engagement on Facebook and Instagram. While also delegating and leading a team of six and reporting to the President.
In 2019, I filled the role of Digital Marketing Manager, being responsible for increasing online engagement and growing our online presence. I also manages paid conversion campaigns on Facebook for our on-campus events, on a Facebook page with more than 14,000 followers.
Content Creation
Throughout my AIESEC journey I became the person the Local Commmittee relied on for Content Creation, whether it’s posters, event banners, flyers or social-media posts. Below is a selection of my work I have created for AIESEC.
Assessment Centre Brochure
At the beginning of a semester AIESEC is usually recruiting new members. To evaluate the potential candidates fit in the organisation we conduct formal interviews as well as an Assessment Centre. This brochure was given out during the Assessment Centre to provide them context.
Global Village Poster
AIESEC’s Global Villlage is an annual event that celebrates different cultures and tries to raise awareness about the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. Here are some posters I made for the year 2019 and 2018.
Recruitment & Global Volunteer Poster
The recruitment poster’s objective was to get more people joining AIESEC, while also demostrating AIESEC’s friendly and youthful energy. The Global Volunteer Poster’s objective was to increase awareness of our Global Volunteer programme, a six-week cross-cultural exchange where you work towards an SDG. Both incorporate QR codes for easy website visits as well as useful analytics.
World Cafe
World Cafe is an event that encourages participants to an open discussion about pressing issues concerning the world today, while also enjoying a hot drink and desserts.
